2022 Hangzhou Outdoor Leisure and Tourism Festival: Nouveau Jinju Met a Group of People Who Don't Want to Go Home...
The editor's most envied person in November was a colleague who had just returned from a business trip to Hangzhou.
For no other reason than the lunar eclipse that flooded social media feeds a few days ago. While the editor was fighting office tower light pollution to focus on the red moon, this colleague, located at Tiger Mountain · Ruken Art Park in Zhongtai Street, Yuhang, had already been enjoying days of wild fun far from the city's hustle and bustle.
Looking at the photos sent by the colleague, the editor, who is used to staying at home, suddenly missed the days of childhood—climbing mountains and trees, wading in rivers to catch fish, lying on the grass staring blankly at the stars, not wanting to go home, just wanting to play outside forever.
The colleague laughed when he heard this. Over the past few days, he had indeed met quite a few people who don't want to go home. These people not only love playing outdoors, but they do it in an exciting and carefree way, tempting more people out of their homes to become children frolicking in the mountains and wilderness.
And this group of children's freshly minted playground is this Tiger Mountain · Ruken Art Park in Zhongtai Street, Yuhang.
On November 4, the 2022 Hangzhou Outdoor Leisure and Tourism Festival officially opened at Tiger Mountain Ruken Art Park. This outdoor tourism grand event, hosted by the Office of the Leading Group for the Creation of a National Culture and Tourism Consumption Demonstration City in Hangzhou, the Hangzhou Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, the People's Government of Yuhang District, and the Hangzhou Daily Press Group, and co-organized by the Yuhang District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Zhongtai Street of Yuhang District, Metro Express · Orange Persimmon Interactive, and Fliggy Travel, brought outdoor brands, trendy markets, sports clubs, RVs and motorcycles, and hot pot and tea drinks, igniting a bonfire in this newly established cultural activity landmark.
The event set up eight spectacular themed offline exhibition sections: Wild Fun Greater Hangzhou, Sunshine Sports Party, Off-Road Club, Camping Vanguard, Rice Field Big Players, Lights Concert, RV Laboratory, and Natural Ideal State.
Here, there are not only super photogenic camping installations, but also outdoor activities like frisbee, surfskate, paddleboarding, and lure fishing for everyone to experience and participate in. Surfskate, being more beginner-friendly, is deeply loved by everyone and is jokingly called "Twist and Shout." The young people on site playing surfskate and frisbee, carrying their gear to the lake to try lure fishing, were all smooth and skillful, attracting many citizens and tourists to watch.
Many outdoor brands also brought rich experiences such as flower arrangement, food, and DIY making, allowing parent-child families to enjoy them as well.
It is said that camping and food go best together. Trunk coffee, milk tea, beer, and burgers were very popular at the scene.
And as dusk fell, the giant outdoor screen movie under the starry sky "started business." This year's dark horse film at the box office, "Moon Man," a space comedy brought by the "Shen-Ma Combination," kept the audience laughing non-stop.
The 800-mu park kept these outdoor activity enthusiasts busy and lively. However, who could have thought that not long ago, this was a desolate, abandoned mine pit?
As an important part of Hangzhou's advocacy for rural revitalization and rural tourism development, in July this year, Zhongtai Street launched the "Hazard Removal and Greening Project" for the Tiger Mountain mine pit, clearing falling rock hazards, spraying seeds and soil on the cliff faces, and covering them with protective nets to prevent wind and scorching sun from damaging the seeds. Through the thorough transformation of an old mine pit, the city demonstrated its determination to adhere to green, ecological, and sustainable development concepts. And the Ruken Art Park (Rock Park), which is the result of this, welcomed its first large-scale event, which can be said to be an important milestone in the city's development and construction, a new starting point.
Such an important and spectacular debut event naturally required a fully capable team to support it. After multiple rounds of selection, the responsibility was ultimately entrusted to Shanghai Nouveau Jinju Cultural Creative Co., Ltd.
Upon receiving the theme "Wild Fun Hangzhou," the designers of the Nouveau Jinju team were excited. How to cleverly combine the natural and rugged elements of the event with the current aesthetic style became an important topic. From the Western elements of "Red Dead Redemption" to the warmth of "Back to Field," there was too much inspiration to choose from. Ultimately, after repeated attempts, Nouveau Jinju finally delivered the excellent design you see before you.
Good design pointed the way, but this was only the first step of implementation. To maximize the restoration of the design in the actual implementation, and to ensure the safe, smooth, and high-quality success of the event, the engineering department that actually participated in the project construction played an indispensable role.
Considering that the on-site environment was developed from a mine pit and was limited by the terrain, making it susceptible to strong winds, Nouveau Jinju placed great importance on responding to special weather conditions during the outdoor stage construction. By increasing ballast and windproof and rainproof structures, the durability of the large outdoor structures was ensured.
Regarding the experiential content of the on-site activities, because they featured extreme sports and wilderness survival, the safety of the guests playing was also a major topic. Nouveau Jinju, according to the nature of different activity areas and different audiences, ensured the orderly and safe experience of the event by adding hard barriers in special areas, posting warning signs, playing guidance audio, and dispatching additional security personnel. On-site epidemic prevention supplies were also readily available and usable, optimizing the guests' participation experience to the greatest extent possible.
With such thorough and perfect on-site preparations by Nouveau Jinju, the three-day event went very smoothly. Ruken Art Park's debut in the public eye was also very perfect. Along with the check-in photos shared by the guests, it instantly became one of Hangzhou's hottest outdoor experience destinations.
Metro Express · Orange Persimmon Interactive, one of the co-organizers, also gave Nouveau Jinju high recognition for the successful completion of this event. We believe that in the future, we will work together to bring everyone more wonderful event projects.
And the valuable experience gained from participating in Ruken · Wild Fun Hangzhou will give Nouveau Jinju more confidence in outdoor competitions, travel camping, conferences and forums. Nouveau Jinju also looks forward to reaching cooperation with more corporate partners to present you with one-stop brand services that combine both beauty and strength!
